Description
PCA85073A CMOS Real-Time Clock/Calendar is an automotive-grade RTC, optimized for low power consumption. An offset register allows fine-tuning of the clock. All addresses and data are transferred serially via the two-line bidirectional I2C-bus. The PCA85073A features a maximum data rate of up to 400kbit/s. The register address is incremented automatically after each written or read data byte.

  • Programmable clock output for peripheral devices (32.768kHz, 16.384kHz, 8.192kHz, 4.096kHz, 2.048kHz, 1.024kHz, and 1.0Hz)
  • Alarm function
  • Minute and half minute interrupt

  • -40°C to +105°C operating temperature range
  • 0.9V to 5.5V clock operating voltage
  • 400kHz two-line I2C-bus interface (at VDD = 1.8V to 5.5V)
